Abstract
The book represents an overiew of the grammar of Middle Egyptian, i.e. the language of the classical literary texts of the Middle Kingdom, but also a number of literary and religious texts of later periods. The aim of the volume is to acquaint Czech scholarly as well as interested lay public with the basic traits of Middle Egyptian with regard to most recent research in the field.
