The presented issue – with the same name and subtitle – focuses on metamorphosis of visual and musical languages in the period between the end of the 19th and the end of 20th century. It describes radical qualitative changes of expressive means, creative and compositional techniques and also material changes of visual and musical languages.
For this reason, the general layout of issue I/2 will differ form issue I/1, even though it will also focus on morphology and grammar of the two artistic genres. The radical change of figurative and tonal system, a transgression to abstract painting and to atonal and aleatoric music, „non-traditional“ expressive means and techniques – these are the main reasons of the different structure of issue I/2.
