Abstract

Clinical biochemistry plays a crucial role in diagnostics, evaluation of cure efficiency and prognosis of the patient clinical state. The spectrum of laboratory methods in clinical biochemistry is very large.

For analysis of biological material, a lot of analytical principles and technologies is used. The book is divided into chapters dealing with general conditions of biochemical testing in clinical labs (chapters 1-6), and the special part focused on discrepancies in concentrations of analytes associating with various human diseases (chapters 7-26), including clinical interpretation of laboratory results (chapters 27-29).
