Abstract
Chapter is focused on diabetic foot syndrome, describing etiopathogenesis, clinical features, diagnostic methods and therapeutical approach to this late complication of diabetes mellitus. Diabetic ulcers occurs in 10 % of all patients with diabetes and precedes 80 % of all lower leg amputations.
