Abstract

The contribution informs about the European project ESTABLISH and the national project GAČR, focusing on inquiry-based science education (IBSE). The activities are suggested in concordance with IBSE principles.

The focus is on the goal-oriented process of forming questions, information search, critical experimenting, weighing of alternatives, researching, verifying and making conclusions, i.e. application of skills necessary for the realization of IBSE.
