Study on organ specificity of CYP1A1 induction by 1-phenylazo-2-hydroxynaphthalene (Sudan I) in rats

Abstract

Cytochrome P450 is induced by Sudan I in all organs studied in the work (liver, kidney, spleen, heart, lung and brain). Sudan I is a strong inducer of this enzyme.
