Abstract
This article briefly outlines various natural hazards that can be observed in Czechia, with regard to their global context. The first section explores hydro-meteorological hazards, such as floods, hailstorms, windstorms, droughts and fires and provides examples of these events.
The second section focuses on geological/geomorphological hazards: slope movements, erosion and earthquakes.
