Guidelines of the Czech gastroenterological society: endoscopic treatment of Barrett's esophagus and early esophageal neoplasia

Abstract

Endoscopic treatment changed the approach to patients with early esophageal neoplasia. Her methods are used for a more accurate diagnosis and staging, and also can lead to successful the therapeutic intervention, which may be followed by further surgery or cancer therapy.

The advantage of the mini-invasive approach, less frequent complications and possible economic benefits.
