The Origins of the Hagiography of Agnes of Bohemia. Towards the Datation and Authorship Candor lucis eterne and so-called Šibeniks requests for the Canonisations of Agnes of Bohemia

Abstract

The article deals with questions by whom and in which time was written an original version of the oldest legend about St. Agnes of Bohemia († 1282) Candor lucis eterne.

A part of study is an edition of so-called Šibeniks requests for canonisation of Agnes, which were written probably already in the year of her death.
