New trends in diagnosis and therapy of diabetic macular edema

Abstract

Diabetic macular edema is the most important complicationn of both types diabetic mellitus and the most common cause of visual impairment in patients affected by diabetes mellitus.In the review article pathogenesis, clinical definition,diagnosis and therapy of the diabetic macular edema are described.
