Abstract
The introduction to the collective monography of 14 authors from Czech republic, Germany and England on topic of early modern media as a condition for the construction of religious, national and culture identities deals with the theoretical aproaches and key concepts (such as early modern period, construction, mediality) that are the basis of the studies.
