Abstract
The book focuses on changes within the gender culture in the Czech society between the years 1948 - 1989. Emancipatiory and Tradicionalistic tendences were noticeable in this proces.
Authors of a book show how a significant number of participants - i.e. organizations, research comunities, or individuals - acted as to play a part in generating gender culture of state socialism during its whole time period; this was happening despite of communist ideologists who expropriated the agenda of czech pre-war female movement.
