Abstract

Jakob Philipp Kulik (1793-1863) was a mathematician and university professor, who worked at Lyceums in Olomouc and Graz and at the Prague University. His manuscript of divisor tables is well known but he published also several articles and books containing various topics from mathematics, mechanics and astronomy.

This article gives a summary of his life and work with a focus to his number-theoretic tables.
