Estrogen can modulate menopausal women´s heart rate variability

Abstract

During the peri-menopausal period, women experience various symptoms contributed by changes in endocrine and autonomic activity. Observational studies of chronic estrogen therapy in postmenopausal women show a significant reduction in the risk of coronary hrat disease.
