Abstract
The content of that article consists of my personal memories of the first year of my preaching work in the Church shortly after the completion of theological studies at Comenius Protestant Theological Faculty in Prague in the autumn of 1967. Memories are expressed in the form of questions and answers relating to my relationship to the church members, the proclamation of God's word and work with children and youth.
