Abstract
Vaccination represents an important opportunity to prevent serious infectious diseases. Increasingly in recent years, attention is focused on vaccination of adutts.
Emphasis is placed on vaccination of persons with chronic itlnesses such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. These patients are at higher risk of more severe course of a number of infections, but atso are at risk of chronic disease acute exacerbation in cases of infection.
Vaccination against selected infections should be considered for each of them.
