In this paper I will focus on summary and interpretation of results of short qualitative research, which is mapping intentionality and identity of juvenile delinquents, inmates of youth detention center. Primary objective of this research is mapping so-called intentional profile of juvenile delinquents.
This is way of their perception and experience of surrounding world, how they apply significance and how they think about it. Part of this profile is idea of role and participation within the frame of this world.
Next goal of this research is explanation of delinquent behavior as part of intentional profile. Phenomena, which constitute intentional profile, are confronted with theoretical concepts, especially with splitting defense mechanism according to M.
Klein and are interpreted in accordance with ideas of E. Fromm and C.
G. Jung.
In conclusion I consider implication of this research for employees of juvenile detention centers on therapeutic work with juvenile delinquents.
