Abstract

Georges Chastelain, the official Burgundian chronicler, is original when describing his teory of the origins of hussitism - he points out sexual relations amongst monks and girls. This story has an important place in his Chronicle, as it correlates with his accusation against women of spreading heresy and wars.

Writing in th years 1455-1458, he links the situation in Prague to acts of Joan of Arc, and reflects on of his own methods and perspective - similarly to what he exprimes in his "Exposition sur Vérité mal prise".
