Abstract
Institute of Classical Archaeology, Faculty of Arts at Charles University celebrated 100 anniversary of its foundation. The concept of Czech Classical Archaeology was firstly defined by Miroslav Tyrš and the co-founder of the Czech Archaeology was Hynek Vysoký.
The article is focused on his life and work.
