Abstract

The paper focuses the activities of the Bohemia Club university association of Bulgarian scholars working in the field of Czech language and literature. Having existed for over twenty years now, the basic objective the association tries to meet is not only to deepen the knowledge about the Czech Republic and Czech people in Bulgaria, but to involve students of Czech language and literature in its public and scientific activities, including e.g. lectures, social and scientific events, cultural events (readings, theatre performances, film screenings) etc.

The central activity of the Bohemia Club is its publishing work: the association is the publisher of the Homo bohemicus magazine (issued four times a year) as well as of translations of Czech fiction and poetry works - the Little Czech Library, non-fiction works dealing with topics related to Czech language and literature - the Big Czech Library, and last, but not least – the Čechopis student magazine.
