Solitude, bridge to the world

Publication at Faculty of Education |

Abstract

After having brought out some modalities of the solitude across several centuries of French literature, the author asks about the symbolism linked with the Plato's dualism and the reflection seen as a structure of the human subject constituted by self-relation and relation to the other. Analogical pattern is then found in Blanchot's dialectics of positivity and negativity imparted into its oxymoric structures.
