Integrative Approach to Pronunciation Practice in Foreign Language Teaching

Abstract

This Paper discusses the acquisition of the phonetic system of foreign languages with emphasizing in particular on the German language. Exemples of two surveys are given whose results demostrate underestimating the role of practicing standad pronunciation.

The Paper suggests one possible solution by focussing on integrative exercises.
