Abstract
The paper is focused on modern learning methods described in contemporary scientific literature. Therefore a content analysis of several resources was conducted in order to reveal teaching strategies which are being used as activating methods in scientific subjects, especially in Chemistry.
Further an analysis of Framework Educational Programmes has been conducted in order to evaluate options of including particular methods into the environment of Czech schools.
