Abstract
Resistance of human enamel after an application of a few typical toothpastes and a mouth rinse with different antierosion ingredients was investigated using optical and scanning electron microscopy. Significant differences among the products ranging from no effect to the gradual formation of a protective layer were observed and characterized.
