But a wide variety of diseases is associated with inflam¬mation of the ileum These include inflammatory bowel disease. infections. spondyloarthropathies. vascular diseases, drug-related ententis. mfiltration (eg sarcoidosis, amyloidosis). postirradiation enteritis, tumors, endometriosis. celiac disease and collagenosis.
