Abstract
In 1996, when this book was first published, the high incidence, difficult diagnosis, problematic treatment effect as well as serious consquences of Lyme Borreliosis fundamentally changed our view most widespread zoonose. Gradually, difficulties associated with problems reffered in the Anglo-Saxon literature as over diagnosis and over treatment were and diagnostic and therapeutic algorithmus were elaborated.
As the need to address the problem in the Czech Republic was this publication.
