Abstract
The publication is based on the conclusions of the international comparisons TIMSS and PISA and the school equipment for the practical education. It characterizes the research method of working and the importance of motivation, focusing on inquiry-based education, and gives a detailed treatment of creation of IBSE-compliant materials for secondary schools.
There is an example of specific treatment of the subject Water for Life via the IBSE method at the end of the publication.
