Abstract
The publication is based on the conclusions of the international comparisons TIMSS and PISA and the current trends of science education in EU. It characteriízes the methods of inquiry-based education and gives a detailed treatment of creation of IBSE-compliant materials for secondary schools.
There is an example of specific treatment of the subject Mixtures via the IBSE method at the end of the publication.
