Abstract

This paper provides a description of the system of rain-water harvesting localised above one of the Medieval and/or Post-Medieval “terraced settlements” discovered by the Czech geoarchaeological expedition in Jebel Sabaloka in the area of the Sixth Nile Cataract in the Sudan. For comparison, other examples of water harvesting features and systems are provided.
