Abstract

Teacher, musician and amateur scholar V. Zelenka spent several years travelling in Egypt, Maghreb and the Levant.

He tirelessly popularised Arabic and Islamic cultures and cultural heritage and made groundbreaking, if not entirely precise, studies in Colloquial Arabic.
