Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyse life satisfaction in a representative sample of Czech children in relation to alcohol drinking and tobacco smoking. The data were obtained within the cross-national study The Health Behaviour in School Aged Children: A WHO Cross National Study (HBSC) in June 2010.

The sample included 5686 Czech children aged 11, 12 and 15. The findings show the statistically significant relationship between life satisfaction and both alcohol drinking and tobacco smoking.
