Abstract
Case report describes a patient with severe hyperglycemic hyperosmolar state, which was primomanifestací 2 diabetes mellitus type. Despite the extreme values of glucose and osmolality was able to achieve a controlled decrease in blood glucose without initial treatment with insulin.
