Contrasting mafic to felsic HP-HT granulites of the Blanský les Massif (Moldanubian Zone of southern Bohemia): complexity of mineral assemblages and metamorphic reactions

Abstrakt

Results of detailed petrological and geochemical study of c. 30 granulite samples. Domain-like occurrences of non-eutectic melting and crystallization with production of garnet hyperpotassic granulites and complementary residual felsic granulites enriched in quartz and kyanite.

Domain-like HT decompression reactions and superimposed local de-alkalization resulting in quartz-sillimanite bands free of feldsopars.
