Abstract
Diverticular disease of the colon is relatively infrequent topic in the journal literature internistic, surgical or general medical focus. Yet in this respect published new data which have an important practical impact and document the developments in this area.
The article is aimed at the general department of the new knowledge concerning all forms of the disease and points out several fresh news.
