New genetic predisposition linked to chronic lymphocytic leukaemia

Abstract

Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia is an oncogenic disease originating from lymphocytes. New study of the team of Spanish scientists described mutations in POT gene as a new genetic mechanism linked to origin of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia.
