Publication at Faculty of Arts |
2013

Abstract

The study is a analysis of Kant's concept of imagination in both editions of the Critique of Pure Reason. There is a concept common to both editions according to which the imagination is a faculty of the mind which synthesises the mannifold.

As such a faculty it is nevertheless dependent on understanding which provides tho unity of synthesis.
