Abstract
Diabetic patients have higher postoperative complications and mortality incidence comparing to those without diabetes. The rate correlates with concentration of glycated hemoglobin therefor we should try to reach the tight diabetes compensation.
After the surgery the raised insulin resistance decreases, oral food income and physical activity are restored. Then it is possible to return to chronic oral antidiabetic drugs treatment.
