Abstract
The study deals with the daughter of Přemysl Otakar I Anne, who married Silesian duke Henry II. Pious.
Anne is one of the noble ladies who chose, under the influence of spiritual atmosphere of the time, the ascetic way of life connected to charity and foundations. She was mainly inspired by her saint relatives, cousin Elisabeth of Hungary, mother-in-law Hedwig of Andechs and younger sister Agnes of Bohemia.
