Abstract

The purpose of the article is to provide a literature overview focusing upon the vascular supply of the femoral head and the acetabulum, two key structures vulnerable during a hip preserving surgery, and, furthermore, to present the results of the anatomical dissection of the medial femoral circumflex artery (MFCA).
