Abstract
There are discussed the risks of pregestational diabetes for the development of embryo and foetus and the risks of pregnancy and perinatal complications. There is further described the system of preconception care for the women with pregestational diabetes and the contraindications of the pregnancy.
In more details there is described the follow up during pregnancy and the specifics of diabetes treatment in pregnancy are explained. In the end there are mentioned the recommendations about the labour of women with pregestational diabetes.
