Movement intervention - benefits and possible risks

Abstract

The main problem of contemporary life style is decrease regularly realized movement activities. By the preparing of movement intervention it is necessary together with assessment of benefits to determine possible risks of imposed activities.

Both benefits and risks are summarized in this study. The predispositions for exercise are often modify by level of body mass and/or obesity.

On the example in groups of children, adults and senior women the predispositions for movement activities were evaluated by the determination of the ECM / BCM relationship that was determined by help of multifrequency bioimpedance analysis. The differences between individuals with normal weight, overweight and obesity for the same age group were substantively and statistically non-significant.

It may be conclude that the prerequisites for physical loads in subjects with overweight or obesity are the same as in people with normal body mass.
