Abstract
The article describes a Czech-French-Canadian research study focused on school preparation of children and on synergy of children, teachers and parents in this process. The results are focused on children attitude to homework, on the differences between boys and girls in the perception of homework, on chosen homework strategy and on formation of children self-regulation
