Abstract
Milan Myška, born 1933, is the leading personality in a modern economic history. He is not only an outstanding historian, but also very successful teacher at the University in Ostrava, an important industrial city, which is situated in the north of Moravia.
This study stresses above all his results in the field of historical research of the working class in the heavy industry.
