Abstract
This paper aims to return to the roots and deal with the meaning of the term (concept) human rights in the original sense, ie. in the sense in which the end of the 18th century was, and which have remained at the core of this concept today. The authors conducted an analysis of key historical-ideological sources which it considers essential legal-philosophical postulates Enlightenment philosophy and key events of the American and French revolutions.
