Abstract
The paper presented specific way of Central Italic peoples of pleasing their gods during the 5th to 1st century B.C. with the offering of terracotta models of various body parts. These so called anatomical votive terracottas reveal their interest in physical health and well being which can be in the rural communities interpreted as a conditio sine qua non for their every day prosperity.
