Abstrakt
The fragment of the Ascension play is preserved in the Schägl manuscript from 14th century together with other medieval plays. Containing only 63 verses and two Latin liturgical chants the play shows Christ appearing to the apostles forty days after his resurrection; the missing end of the fragment perhaps included the act of Christ´s ascension.
