Abstract

The largest medieval play from Bohemia, dating from the end of 14th century, is an example of rich medieval tradition of bilingual (Czech-Latin) Easter drama. The central story of Christ´s resurrection is extended by new scenes, composed mainly in Czech language, including comic characters and even satiric elements.
