Contribution of the physical education and sport to the Czech nation emancipation

Abstract

The monograph is dedicated to the contribution of the physical education and sport to the Czech national emancipation in the time since the creation of the Sokol organization after the defeat of so called Bach absolutism in 1862 till 1916 when the activities of the Czech Sokol movement, of the Czech Olympic committee and of the football association were forbidden during the war.
