The Use of Remote Sensing for Analyzing Geology, Topography and Environmental Changes in Mountains

Abstract

The presented research shows various remote sensing data together with digital map layers in the Western Tatras, part of the Carpathian Mountains. As an example, the attached case study demonstrates processing of images from Landsat multispectral data and Hyperion hyperspectral data together with GIS map layers.
