Abstract
The paper focuses on the description of the process of identification and quantification of crimes related to illegal drugs and alcohol, including their share of total crime in the country. The estimation was made as a part of the study "Social costs of alcohol, tobacco and illicit drugs in the Czech Republic in 2007."
